   I am thrilled to introduce myself as an applicant to the MFA program in Graphic Design at Fort Hays State University. My name is Paige Polifka-Denson, and I am deeply passionate about creating art that inspires and uplifts others, much like the transformative experiences I have had here at Fort Hays State University myself.

​

   I am eager to pursue my Master of Fine Arts degree with a focus on graphic design, with a keen interest in incorporating photography and various mixed media into my artistic works. This program presents an invaluable opportunity for me to further refine my artistic skills and explore new avenues of creative expression.

​

   My ultimate goal is to use my artistic talents and education to make a meaningful difference in my community by using art as a tool to foster confidence, cultivate positive habits, and create safe and inclusive spaces for all. I am committed to bringing an open mind and a dedicated work ethic to the program, and I am excited about the prospect of collaborating with fellow students and faculty members.

   Looking ahead, I envision myself embarking on a journey of artistic exploration and cultural exchange, traveling the world to share the lessons and insights I have gained through my experiences here at Fort Hays. I am confident that this MFA program will provide me with the necessary skills, knowledge, and opportunities to turn this vision into reality.
